Continuities was premiered in April of 2021 at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami as a winner of the school’s choral call for scores competition. The performance was conducted by Jamie Bunce, and it featured the Frost Chamber Singers.
 
In this text, poet Walt Whitman explores the ever-changing cycles of nature and emphasizes the continual state of the world that we live in. His fascination with life and human thought is what drew me to this poem. The music aims to capture a feeling of continual motion, as well as a curiosity that drives human nature.
