FILM AND TV

Strent is an experienced and accomplished composer for the screen. From TV intro music to film orchestration, Strent has worked in a number of collaborative settings. Highlights include scoring Gwyneth Johnson's "Waltz of Memories" (2023) in which Strent won "Second Best Musical Score" as part of a film festival with DKA and SCI. He also composed the music forErick Cardenas' "Amber", a short silent film that was debuted in the fall of 2021 (for which he conducted the live orchestra). Strent also worked as an orchestrator for the film "Natural Demise" with director Richard Ryan, and composed the theme music for two youtube series by Stein Films.
